Loft Build. Recording Studio Construction Update.
Original content from Sound-Weavers.com
We just want to update visitors to our web site on the progress of construction of our new recording studio. First off, we are way behind schedule. There were a few revisions on the recording studio design aimed at determining the best way to construct and selecting the materials for the Recording Studio's Loft or Mezzanine level. Initially, we were presented with timber flooring for the loft and this is fine with our UK-based recording studio designer. However, based on experience, we kept on with the research until we decided that concrete will be more durable for the Loft, it will also be more quiet and have a bigger load capacity (for our Control Room ceiling) as compared to timber.

Recording Studio Demolished. New Service Advisory.
Sound Weavers main and only recording studio facility has been demolished in the last week of February, why? We are relocating to a different location (still in Makati) where we will undergo construction of a new recording studio that will have a bigger tracking room, higher ceilings and more private/comfortable environment. This new studio is expected to be online and fully operational by the first week of May 2009.
Inside, we post an advisory on Services that we can still render in the temporary location of our Control Room. We also share our plans for the new recording studio as well as for the company.

We’ve been terribly occupied since April through this month of May. It occured to me that I have not updated the blog for quite awhile. Well here goes.

No hurry. Recording studio is coming together
This month of February has been hectic in a relaxed sort of way. Our expectations were in line that we will not be a 100% commercial operation yet, not even March... maybe April 1st (no pun).
While most of the studio's recording equipment are online and we have actually engaged on a few recording and tracking sessions. We are still waiting for a a few more pieces to complete the sound weaving puzzle that is Sound Weavers Recording Studio.

Logos studies are in
Thanks to Dino who came up with these nice logo concepts. Things I like..
the interlocking "S" and "W"
the elliptical/circular shape of all elements
the "rings" although it should be like sound waves, getting thinner to the outside.

More construction updates before 2005 ticks away
Here are photos showing the Sound Weavers recording studio under construction. Finally have time to post them and update the web site. No one seems to be willing to work during the holidays, so no work for me too (well, this is like work already)... Last night I set-up the drum set and pounded away, sounds good so far. Can't wait for Monday Jan. 2, 2006 when we start working on acoustic control and treatments already. More photos to those interested in my studio and also to those interested in building their own recording studios.

Gosh, it has been more than a month of not posting updates. Obviously we’ve been busy with the construction as well as equipment acquisition. Without further ado, here are photo updates to those interested.

My betting odds
Odds are basically the reflection of the probability in sports betting, which you can read more about here.
What is the value of a single match?
If you own the one team that has the match played in its favour, that amount is the value.
The odds of winning the match are what tell you if you are actually betting on that
